Review by hotel critic
Staying at Hostal Nomade Santiago was an absolute delight, perfectly aligned with my taste for comfort and convenience in the heart of history. The location is unbeatable, just a short 5-minute stroll to the stunning cathedral, surrounded by delightful bars and restaurants, which made it a fantastic choice for our New Year getaway. Our triple room was surprisingly spacious, equipped with modern amenities including air conditioning, soundproof walls, and a flat-screen TV — perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. I particularly appreciated the private bathroom with thoughtful touches like free toiletries and thick towels, enhancing that luxurious feel often sought after on such trips. One evening, we indulged in the delectable tasting menu offered in the wine bar downstairs — a superb culinary experience that lacked the common tourist vibe, making it a welcomed retreat. The attentive staff were friendly and accommodating, helping us navigate the vibrant streets and adjust our stay to our needs. Hostal Nomade Santiago felt like a home away from home, combining charm and comfort seamlessly, and it’s a place I would gladly return to with friends or my fiancé in tow on our next adventure.
